@JCDingwall smurf's blood blue. The natural color is a clay grey due to the sediment, so they add "organic" dye to make it look less like a giant puddle of water in a parking lot

so obviously they dye the water blue??

Bummer man. I would have been so let down if that happened, but it’s to be expected. With this engineered wave making stuff we can’t count on perfection

My session got cut short because the pumps were misfiring. According to Rob Henson, it was the first time he'd ever seen it happen. When it was working I paddled for a few and missed them, never got the chance to get to my feet and ride one, which freaking sucked. Prob sign up for the intermediate wave next time I head out to Waco. I did get a refund so I guess no harm, no foul.

The intermediate did look fun; not a barrel but a nice down-the-line wave with about 3-4 hits.
