i surfed at the 61st for 2 hours and pleasure flagship for another 2. 61st was better, steeper and faster. pier nazis ran us off. went to Flag, it was cleaner but slower. i woulf have stayed longer but started cramping up. Its cold as a mofo

I got kicked out of the water the last time I surfed there. I need to get my G-town green card. :)
You guys must have been real close. Surfed there a ton since moving here and never had any issues...even when the pier was crowded
yeah 300 feet is overkill.
Same thing almost happened to us at 61st. Someone started to tell us to get away from the pier but quickly realized there wasn’t even anybody fishing the entire East side and gave it a rest.
To his defense we were pretty close. Wouldn’t have even paddled out if there were lines out in the water though. Too hostile there lately..

I stopped at southern spears i think i saw yall at 61 surf was pumping all the way down the beach i guess the cold kept most people out of the water
