Travel inland and North into British Columbia and it's 57 degrees this morning here. The only problem is that you can't see the sun because of the smoke haze. Can't see the mountain ranges either.

Beautiful place. I bet it is cool on that beach on a cloudy day and the cold water.

Found great surf on an open beach off the 101 in Washington state today. Just looked like the men in grey suits would frequent it lot.

I am with you Tom. As I age cold water is a challenge and it has to be pretty good to suit up and I have great gear. In 2016 we surfed more in the Mexican pacific than we did the Texas coast and only suited up once. In 2017 I never suited up. Age yes but also a lack of motivation when it is cold. I met a guy Mark that joined us on our 2014 trip to Mexico. He said he goes to Mexico 4-5 times a year and never surfs locally. I didn't get it at that time but now I do.

Surf is up here, like 3-4' on the sets. Water is that blue color that says "yes I am cold and I will freeze your ass off" and with that I am not going out. Besides too much trouble and I wouldn't even paddle out in Texas in this water temp range. 60 has been my limit the past few years, yeah I know it's an age thing.

Cool man. My wife went there recently on a chick trip through Oregon and BC. Cannon beach was thier favorite . She has been trying to get us to go every since. Sounds like a bad ass place to be
