My son said traffic on 45 backed all the way back to NASA Rd 1. Crazy, watching buoy, I cam and drive back way to get to SS. Ck cam and buoy. I want to surf. Not fight damn crowds. John McGee. Txt or call if any change. GTown is happening, go to Galveston. I just need beach and water.

When Mid gulf bouy shows it will take 10 to 12 hours to get to ss

Watching, Saturday, small will be good, first time in about 6 weeks.

Dawn Patrol Monday is good for me. I can surf and then power down on hot dogs and beers later.

I think it starts to kick in on Sunday evening or Monday morning. Assuming it's a 10 second swell period (low end hopefully) -- that would mean the sets will be traveling at 17.26 MPH. On Saturday at 7:00am, NHC is projecting Tropical Storm force winds to be approx 690 miles from Freeport. That would put the sets about 40 hours out, so they would start to arrive around 11:00pm on Sunday.

Hopefully I am calculating this wrong and it shows up earlier -- with those north winds that are projected.

We'll see how it goes. Saturday and Monday work for me, Sunday it's all y'all

should be kicking in by saturday....let's ride!

Looks micro 2 ft, but the forecasts are mixed up and keep flippy flopping. Hoping for 13 - 14 sec 3 ft+ swell... wishful thinking, I know.

Looks like North Winds Friday and Saturday. Could be nice, of course it's not a guarantee that we'll get anything, but I'll hope for the best.

I am ready to get back out. Crowded, it will be.
