Yes for sure. Its pretty much the perfect day at the Ranch when it is firing. One morning when we arrived at day break in March the light off shores had you reaching for your hoodie. We try to surf during the week when there are just a hand full of surfers in the water and avoid the weekends when more folks show up.
Leon told me that they now have electricity at the few houses near the Ranch but it is still a pretty remote spot. Leon bought property at Saladita years ago and is now in the process of building El Punto (check it out on Facebook. El Punto) which will feature 17 condos and a surf shop. Saladita will continue to grow which is a good/bad thing I guess. The wave is great there but just too crowded from my taste so we drive 20 minutes north to the Ranch.
