How do you sign up for session if you're not a season pass holder? I've tried calling but can't talk to a person. Don't see where you can sign up online.

What a great day! I 100 percent recommend going to BSR. So fun even with a lot of folks in the water!

If a Waco wave park keeps Austinites from invading the lineup at Pt A, how can that be a bad thing? :-)

I am not knocking surf parks but it is just not for me. I sure don't want to ruin anyone's stoke on them. My buddy Seadog who is one of the most stoked surfers I know did not have a good experience at NL last year after buying 2 time slots for $90 each. The BSR seems to have their shit together. John have you ever been to Panama? It's been on my bucket list for years and I have researched it quite a bit. It would help if Southwest flew there because ticket prices are really high.

I'm going Monday but my interest is having fun surf in Texas when the Gulf goes flat that is cheaper than flying out. Moondoggie, I am getting really interested in one of the places you mentioned to spend extended time periods especially when it is flat here or the water is too cold.

I agree with you Moondoggie. Its a novelty for me that I like to try like Tanker Surf or NLand. When it's all said and done, I prefer a clean day at Surfside to any of the fake waves personally.

I have no interest in wave parks. I will save my money for a trip down the coast when it shows or for a trip to Costa Rica / Mexico or Panama. Real waves and real beaches rule. But you all should pack up and move to Waco and we will hold down the fort here. :)

seems like on a weekday in the big town of waco you'd have it all to yourself anyway-might be few branch davidians and rich baylor kids but not many hardcore surfers

seems like the air cannon wave fart system would be less reliable to create a "perfect" wave every time as compared to the the kelly slater iron horse wave plow system...plus it all seems really expensive anyway when we've been getting good actual surf lately

they emailed me and said they dropped the 100 a day because they couldn't
guarantee you would get a wave with too many surfers in the water so
its back to 60 an hour. still a lot of money. one time novelty for me

Unreal! Wondering how difficult the takeoff is. These surfers make it look easy, but I also see quite a few waves being passed up. I hope the rumors of $100 all day passes are correct. It may take more than a 1 hour session to get it wired.
I would keep calling
