I'll stir up some shit with this one. Is anyone here still a member of Surfrider Upper Gulf Coast? I've tried to coordinate with them a few times the last few years, but the members don't have much interest in participating. I remember in the hey day, they had a pretty robust following and a lot of the events were well attended. Any insight on this one? The Galveston Chapter seems to be doing OK.

So the plan is the get things going again this year with meetings at BB’s next door to surf house. (It recently opened). Your welcome to step up and help out. I’ll get with Ellis and John Lumly and get an update.
I think Ellis kind of just aged out and an inland chapter trying to meet at Griffs just had limited potential anyway if you want to re-ignite it just volunteer to take it over and carry the torch a few years
