Made the last minute call to head east. Best surf trip score I've had. The waves weren't just BIG, it was pumping! WED when we got there we surfed Reef Rd. I caught the biggest wave of my life 4 times.
This was Thursday in front of the parking lot south of Reef Rd in West Palm Beach (well over head 6-8 faces. Some set waves were DOH early morning).
Such a classic day of surfing perfect blue water.

We had just a slight bit of fun hanging together out of the water, too. Great times, fellas!

In all honesty, I haven’t surfed waves bigger than a little overhead in a pretty long time. I don’t like holding my breath or losing my board in way outside waves.
That’s a smooth perfect set up.
If I was there I would have had the longest board. I like the way they arc out on tall open faces.
Barf, we were riding typical short boards. No issues with it... Wed evening when it was really big it would of been nice to have a step up 6'2 6'4 or something but the waves I caught I was still prettt good on the 5'9 weirdo ripper
