I may or may not be driving down to SPadre right now. Don’t tell my office :) Have had bronchitis all week- so feel like a salt water cleanse is in order. Fingers crossed.

I surfed the first part of Ivan at Q and got swept out. Should have paddled along the beach to escape the rip. But I panicked and tried to fight the rip. Ended up climbing on the jetty and dragging myself out

Which storm was that when white whale was breaking like that? Had to be like 10 years ago and I think there was two swells that summer that made it break. The second one was bigger I think

I'm not stoked on this one...was planning on setting up my tent and bringing the fam down Sunday, but not likely if its ESE at 20mph with thunderstorms. I hope I'm wrong

I tried to surf ballena blanca, I couldn’t stay in position long enough and got swept down. Bigass swell that day. That chick kit Kat jetty jumped with me. Gnarly day

So it didn’t seem like there was much beach from the jetty to the houses the last time I was there. Getting out of the water will be a helluva task unless you can drift way down. Stay away east wind!

Its pretty much anybody's guess at this point but it could be a rainmaker and might freak some recent flood victims out a little bit... i am steering clear of the everclear this time...i wouldnt get too excited on surf yet...it'll probably just be a one leasher...it could go code two leash or code three leash depending on the track...stay tuned

I hope it goes to florida again-we don't need any devastation...we are still full up from last year.
Houston has had major floods in past 3 years Memorial Day '15, Tax Day '16, and obviously Harvey '17
